Teen Advisory Board

  • Do you want more and better library programming for teens?
  • Do you want more and better books, CDs, movies, and magazines at the library for teens?
  • Do you want the chance to be taken seriously, to develop leadership and organizational skills, and to add a positive educational experience to your resume or college applications?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then the Kalona Public Library's Teen Advisory Board could be just what you're looking for.

The TAB will meet every month to discuss teen services and materials at the library. This group will brainstorm, organize, and help to publicize teen programs, and also will assist in developing creative displays for the young adult area of the library. The council may also decide to publish a newsletter with book, movie, and music reviews, or any other number of special projects.

An opportunity to express yourself!
