Mary Swander, Iowa's Poet Laureate, will read from her newly published work "The Girls on the Roof."
Join us as Iowa Poet Laureate, Mary Swander, reads from her latest work "The Girls on the Roof."
"The Girls on the Roof" tells the story of a mother and daughter, Maggie and Pearl, who find themselves on the roof of Crazy Eddy's cafe as the Mississippi floods the town.
Admission is free.
