Learn the basics of computers. Begin with turning on the computer as well as using the mouse, keyboard, desktop, and taskbar. You will learn the fundamentals of word processing using Word 2007. Also learn the basics of file browsing and management.This class meets twice, Tuesday August 9th and Thursday August 11th, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The class is available through Kirkwood Community College. The cost of the class is $45.00. The textbook will be "Welcome to the World of Computers 2nd Edition". Books will be available for purchase the night of the class for $30.00.
